PS Hash is a comprehensive software solution that helps you generate a very wide range of checksums for the files you choose.

Hash generator  

You can start by browsing to the location of a file on your computer (drag and drop are also supported). Next, you can choose the types of checksums you are interested in.
All the supported types are sorted in several groups, such as CRC & Adler checksums, MD/RipeMD, SHA-0/SHA-1/SHA-2, SHA-3/SHAKE or Others (where you can find Snefru or Whirpool).
You can select multiple checksum types, then generate all of them at once. You can also search the web for the chosen filename using engines like Google, or DuckDuckGo, while you can use VirusTotal to check for the hash.

Checksum comparison and verification  

Another function of PS Hash is comparing a file's checksum with another one's or a pasted string. You can choose the algorithm to be used for the comparison.
Alternatively, you can leave it to the app to automatically detect it based on the hash length. 
You can also create a list with multiple files (either from a folder, or by manually browsing for them). Next, you get to specify the type of checksum you want to verify for them, then save the results to a dedicated file.

Hash texts  

Another tab from PS Hash allows you to type or paste a text message, then calculate the checksum for it according to the chosen algorithm and the text encoding.
You can then copy the result to the clipboard so you can later analyze or compare it.
