dotConnect for Salesforce

dotConnect for Salesforce is a data provider that was designed to help advanced computer users such as developers or database administrators access Salesforce cloud CRM data through Entity Framework or ADO.NET interfaces. It also makes it possible that Salesforce data can be integrated into .NET applications or integrate Salesforce services with popular data technologies.
A local SQL engine is also included within this provider so that users can query Salesforce data, perform query optimizations or cache data. Developers can benefit from its capabilities without learning advanced Web Services API, as it is possible to use Entity Framework and ADO.NET interface concepts.
Salesforce services can be integrated into .NET applications by relying on connection pooling, advanced data caching and query optimization to provide users with increased CRM connection performance and enhanced data fetching. It is possible to use SQL-92 compatible SELECT statements through its local SQL engine. This enables users to handle Salesforce Opportunities, Leads, Accounts or Contacts in a similar manner to SQL tables. Complex JOIN or WHERE conditions can also be used.
dotConnect for Salesforce lets users integrate it into Visual Studio and also access metadata via SQL-92 compatible information schema or by relying on the GetSchema method.
