In the eventuality that you are working on a more complex application, then you are probably thinking of including some hints so users have an easier time getting around. If you do not want to compromise the GUI's appearance and prefer to maintain it as clean as possible, then adding hotspots might be an idea to consider.
HotSpotImage is a component which will help developers create applications with hotspots easier. The generated hotspots can be rectangle, ellipsis, polygon or rotated rectangles, rotated ellipsis, so developers are pretty much covered when it comes to including hints, clicks, double clicks or hovering over their project.
It is worth mentioning that the hotspots created come with a down, selected and blink properties, so you can display both clipped and non-clipped images once the hotspot is clicked. The components can be used for a single hotspot as well as multi-select and enable you to zoom in the corresponding image.
As you would expect, the hotspot element can be edited so you can add the appropriate name, hint, angle, state or ID without too much effort. In addition, the library packs a magic want in the design time editor so that the polygon selection is done automatically and hence, save you some time.
