Generally speaking, tabs have the role of representing different aspects of a single object and play a key role in efficient navigation. While it is true that you can set any type of element or control via TabSet, sometimes adding some sort of control over it makes it easier to set the page's descriptive label.
TAdvOfficeTabSet is a component which allows developers to create applications with Office or Metro assembling tabs. Therefore, the style, functionality and look can borrow from the ones that you commonly find in Office 2003 to 2016 as well as Metro design.
Speaking of functionality, the programs developed with this library come with support for tabbed MDI applications, close button separate or directly on the tab, scroll buttons, progress bar indicators, tab list drop-down button, reordering and glow border attention indicators on each tab, just to name a few options.
As you probably hinted, the tabs designed can be customized according to the roles and functions of the applications. Therefore, you can add floating pages, hidden pages or built-in persistence of tab position. Lastly, you can include tab images that can be selected from either image lists or PNG files with anti-aliasing and alpha opacity layer support.
