HDHomeRun

Recording the TV programs seems to be a thing of the past, but it turns out that people still want to have this feature around and HDHomeRun DVR is one few solutions available to users. The HDHomeRun DVR project debuted on Kickstarter, and it needed an Android application.
The HDHomeRun app that provides access to Live TV, including cable TV and over-the-air, available for phone, tablet, and Android TV. It comes with support for HD channels, Cable TV and OTA, Fast Channel changes, intuitive UI and OSD to control volume, and a program progress bar.
The app also features a consolidated list of channels; it doesn’t require a computer to make it work, and no external player is needed to download. For now, the application only works in USA, Canada, UK, and Australia, and only for Kickstarter supporters.
