Adguard - No Root Ad Blocker

3.2.110

Adguard is an Android application that enables users to filter out most of the ads, without needing root access. Read more about Adguard - No Root Ad Blocker

One of the problems with adblockers on Android is that most of them require root access in order to work. Getting access to the Android OS needs special permission, and not everyone is willing to do it, especially if it means losing the warranty, in some cases.

This is where Adguard comes into play. It’s not a regular adblocker. It’s a smart VPN service, which means that all traffic is routed through a VPN which filters out ads before the video or the website reaches the user.

There are a couple of drawbacks to this approach. For one, the browsing speed is going to be somewhat reduced because of the VPN redirect, and the service is not free. Users will have to pay a yearly or monthly fee to get rid of the ads.
