The app saves passwords, usernames and personal information, which it locks using a master password, a PIN or fingerprint authentication. It has a password generator that lets you adjust the length, use digits, letters or symbols in order to create passwords for your accounts. You can secure payments, IDs and personal info inside the app and use a sync feature to access data on your computer.
 
Dashlane lets you lock notes inside the app and make sure that no one sees them. You can also use the built-in browser to access various websites and autofill information in forms. The app also has a feature for giving a friend access to passwords or notes stored under your account, in case of emergency.
