When you want to check on a widget, you usually have to minimize the application that’s already opened and go to Home. This can be a little bit annoying, but developers figured out that it’s possible to get access to the widgets without having to close the current application.
The Snap drawer works pretty much like the regular app drawer, but the difference is that you can also have widgets in there, not just shortcuts to basic system functions. Users just have to swipe down, and the widgets will be accessible and ready at a glance.
It’s mostly designed for the stock version of Android, but it might work on other versions as well. It can be accessed from any app, and you’ll no longer have to minimize the current application, and you don’t need to go to Home.
