See your laptop\'s battery level in the system tray at all times, in percentage form, with this lightweight, open-source piece of software

You can monitor your laptop’s battery level even without third-party software, but many users may not be happy with the default battery icon, which can’t be customized in any way.
Percentage is a very small application that provides you with an alternative. As you can probably tell from the software’s name, it enables you to monitor your PC’s charge level using a tray icon that displays power in percentage form.

Alternative to the standard Windows battery meter

It can be difficult to tell just how much charge your battery has left without seeing the exact numbers, and this is something this utility seeks to help you with. It shows you the charge level in percentage form via a simple system tray icon.
The program does not need to be installed before use, as you just need to launch the executable file and check the newly-added system tray icon. However, you will need to add it to your startup folder yourself if you want it to be launched automatically.

Simple battery meter for Windows 10

While you should be able to use Percentage even with other versions of Windows, it’s only going to look good with a darker, preferably black taskbar. It would certainly help if the background color could be customized or if it were transparent by default.
It is worth noting that the default font is also not customizable, and some users may find it to be a bit too small for their liking. On smaller screens, in particular, the numbers are going to be quite difficult to read.

View your battery level in percentage form

On the whole, this is a simplistic application that would be a lot better if some customization options were added. It is great for users who want to see their PC’s exact charge level, but it is a bit too basic at present.
