Cyotek NBT Editor

1.3.0.169

A dedicated editor for the NBT format, which can store structured data created either by the Minecraft game or any other application

The NBT format can store structured information in Minecraft files. The game generates NBT files and documents containing various data but there are also dedicated editors that can be used to create or edit such content. One example is the Cyotek NBT Editor, an easy-to-use application that can tamper with Minecraft data files.
Cyotek NBT Editor can open uncompressed data, but it also comes with support for Deflate and Gzip compressed files. Please keep in mind that Anvil or Bedrock files are not compatible with this software tool. Only standalone NBT documents are supported.

Manage data values, compounds and lists in tree view

Thanks to the user-friendly interface, working with Cyotek NBT Editor is pretty straightforward. By default, the editor runs in dual pane mode. The compounds and the lists are displayed in the left panel, whereas the data values are located in the right panel. However, there is also a single pane mode, which brings together all the items in a single expandable tree view.
To add new compounds, lists or create new data values, all you have to do is right-click anywhere within the main window. Cyotek NBT Editor features support for all types of binary data: byte, short, int, long, float, double, byteArrays and strings.

Create or import tag structures

Not only that you can create structures with Cyotek NBT Editor, but you can also use it add binary data to a newly created NBT file. All these items can be edited individually as raw bytes. Alternatively, the content can be imported from a NBT file and modified with Cyotek NBT Editor.
Tags can be copied to the clipboard with ease, which makes data management even easier. Existing NBT documents can be imported and included in a tag hierarchy that is already built.

A dedicated editor for Minecraft NBT files

Cyotek NBT Editor provides a convenient method to create named binary tag documents, which are used in Minecraft to store data. It can be used to edit files created either by Minecraft or any other application.
