Regardless how hard you try, using the computer means it will accumulate all sorts of caches, temporary files, cookies, browsing history and other residues that take up a lot of space. Moreover, completely ignoring them is not a good idea, as the more junk, the more the performance of the computer is affected.
CleanSweep is a lightweight utility that enables you to clear some of the junk files that eat up space and affect the overall functionality of the PC.

Clean temporary files with just one click

The program is not trully portable, but you do not need to bother with installation or configuration. The app comes with a minimalistic interface that includes a single window displaying all available options. In the upper section of the GUI, you can select the junk files that you want to remove, be it general temporary files, setup files or Internet files. Once you make the selection, you can hit the Sweep it! Button and all should be cleared in a matter of seconds.
In the lower section of the interface, you can preview the log with information about the app's actions. The tool shows the sizes of the directories that hold the temporary files before and after cleaning. At the same time, it presents how much space you managed to save following the sweep. As you probably expected, the log can be cleared completely or you can copy parts of all of it to clipboard or other third-party tools.
