The AMD LoD Adjuster / Changer is a lightweight application designed to help you easily modify the level of detail in the Counter Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) game. This parameter is not available in the settings of the game and, although you can tamper with it via the registry editor, using a dedicated software tool with a user-friendly interface is much more convenient.
As its name implies, AMD LoD Adjuster / Changer only works with AMD graphics cards. Running it will have no effect in case the PC is equipped with another GPU model. It requires no installation and it is ready to go as soon as you launch it.
Working with AMD LoD Adjuster / Changer is extremely easy. You simply have to enter the desired value or move the slider that shows the level of detail parameter and hit the “change” button. What this application actually does is modify the value of the LodAdj key in the system registry.
Values range from –5 to 5. The higher the value, the higher the performance of the game but at the cost of low detailed rendering, with flat surfaces and less details. The 0 value represents the default.
Please keep in mind that the Counter Strike game should be closed before using this application. Furthermore, a system restart is mandatory for the changes to take effect and see results within the game.
