It might sometimes happen that you have certain issues related to the way Windows is working. Or, more specific, not working. The application requires no installation. As soon as you launch it, you are greeted by a simple window that reveals a list of all the user accounts of the current system, along with their status (e.g., administrator, simple user, etc.). The only things to do are to select the user profile that experiences problems and choose to fix it by pressing the corresponding button.

Choose the account to repair and wait for the app to do its job

Once the account to repair is selected, Account Profile Fixer displays a text paragraph explaining how the application works and what actions it will take. In short, it sends a reboot signal to the computer and then proceeds to create a new temporary account, which is used to handle system problems such as those enumerated above. Once the issues are solved, this temporary account is deleted, and the PC is restarted once more.
Optionally, you can configure Account Profile Fixer to keep all the Windows Store apps and the system appdata from the old account, but note that this might affect the capability of the application to fix problems in Windows.
Depending on the size of the files to migrate and the nature of the identified problems, the repairing process might take more or less time. Even so, the new account is usually set up in a few minutes. Once Windows boots in and starts, you can use your computer exactly as you did before.
At Windows start, Account Profile Fixer displays its log file, which depicts all the actions the application undertook to repair the broken user profile.
