SmartThings

Many of the smart devices from Samsung have some kind of connectivity, whether it’s Wi-Fi or Internet, so connecting to them is not all that difficult. With the SmartThings app, users can quickly connect to smart devices.
 
The app is normally used to check on the status of the devices, which usually offer some sort of feedback if there are any problems. It’s also possible to group the devices in multiple categories, if there are more than one, to configure the device settings where possible, and to receive notifications.
 
Please keep in mind that while SmartThings does work with other phones than Samsung, some functionalities might be limited on different phones.
