When launching the Android software for the first time, it asks for permission to access your actual location. However, you are free to reject that request and search for a specific place in the existing database. You may even save multiple cities and switch from one area to another when needed.
With this app, users can determine not only the sunrise, sunset, moonrise, and moonset times. It also enables them to track the Sun's path during the day and find out how far the Earth from the central star of our solar system is at the moment. Likewise, they can learn when the golden hour and blue hour end each day, determine the day length and read similar information about the upcoming weeks.
The mobile solution has an intuitive design and lets users navigate between sections without a hassle. It also enables them to explore a map for further details and configure various settings to their preference. For instance, they are free to change the geographic coordinates and distance units, sort locations by name, and rely on the UTC format (Coordinated Universal Time). Moreover, they can choose from many widgets and place those shortcuts on the home screen in a flash.
