Not all companies out there have the same policy when it comes to dead pixels, and some are more lenient than others. It’s a good idea to make sure that your mobile device doesn’t have any problems with the screen, and for that, we can use an app such as InjuredPixels.
How does it work? A dead pixel shows up when at least one of the three colors that makes up a pixel doesn’t work anymore. The problem is that it’s not always visible. The InjuredPixels app lets users cycle through some primary colors, forcing any problems with dead pixels to show up.
The application works in full screen, which means that it will be possible to spot any issues even if they are right at the edges.
