Trying not to get killed in a game is not something to be taken lightly. Even if the avatars in Dumb Ways to Die seem always to be a position to die either by poking a bear with a stick or swimming in waters that are full of piranhas, it’s your job to keep them alive.
The gameplay is divided into really short scenarios that ask players to take action or to do nothing. If you're fast enough, the characters will live. If you’re too slow, then they will probably die in all kinds of interesting ways.
It’s not enough to decide what to do in each scenario because the game also picks up speed, so it’s not a question of whether they are going to die; it’s how soon.
