IFTTT

Just posting stuff to Twitter or Facebook can get boring sometimes, but some developers figured out how to makes a little bit more interesting. IF by IFTTT is an application that creates connections between social networks such as Facebook, Dropbox, Instagram, Twitter, and Gmail, and a number of other services like Nest Thermostat, Fitbit, and Philips Hue lightbulbs.
 
It might sound weird at first, but IF by IFTTT is very simple to use, and the recipes that you can get from combining these services can be quite interesting. For instance, you can post all your Instagrams as Twitter photos, or you can Share Facebook status updates on Tumblr or LinkedIn.
