The personal assistants in today’s devices are becoming more and more powerful, and the same can be said about Bixby, which promises to provide a comprehensive layer of interactivity between the users and the device.
It doesn’t matter if the users just want to know what’s the weather like, if they want to make an appointment in the calendar, or if they want to dictate an SMS message. The Bixby assistant in Samsung’s Galaxy S8 line will do all of these tasks with the same ease.
In theory, any action that users can perform with touch should also be possible with Bixby. The only problem is that developers need to implement support for Bixby if they want their apps to be perfectly integrated with the assistant.
