DS photo

While Android does allow users to store images on their servers, not everyone might be inclined to do so. The alternative is to use your own server, but that might not be all that easy to accomplish. Users might need something like DS photo, which is designed for the Synology NAS.
 
If you have a Synology NAS server set up, at home or anywhere, then all you need on your phone is the DS photo app. Organizing the photos can be done with minimal effort, and you can even download the photos to your phone. Also, a photo backup feature allows users to upload their pictures to the cloud.
