You ever wondered what's particular star when you're watching the sky at night? With the help of Sky Map you don't need to wonder any more. Users just have to point the phone towards the sky, and you will be able to find out.
Sky Map is basically a planetarium app that already has most of the stars and other celestial objects that you can see with the naked eye. This means that you don’t need to have an Internet connection to use it.
The app makes use of the compass in your phone to figure out the direction, but it will work without a compass. Users can choose to filter out some of the information on the screen, such as a nebulae or constellations, and focus solely on planets and stars.
