One of the problems with Bluetooth devices, such as headsets, for example, is that they don’t provide any kind of feedback regarding the remaining battery level until it’s too late. In this category, there are a ton of other devices that lack this basic functionality. We find out with a red LED that the power has been drained and then it’s too late.
The BatON application aims to correct this problem by providing this information for devices connected through Bluetooth. The only issue is that it needs at least Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity, otherwise it won’t work. Even so, some devices might not report the battery level, but at least there is something that might work.
