Vov System Uptime

Getting the system uptime, which tells you how long your computer has been on, is surprisingly difficult on Windows. Thankfully, though, you can rely on various third-party utilities to make this task easier.
Vov System Uptime is one of the programs you can turn to, and it is one of the simplest ones out there. It runs minimized in the system tray and allows you to see the system uptime with a single mouse click, while staying out of your way.

Simple to install and unobtrusive

It is no surprise that Vov System Uptime is a very small application, so you should be able to set everything up in seconds. It has no software requirements to mention, and you only need to follow a few straightforward steps.
Once installed, the application can be found in the system tray. It lacks a classic GUI, displaying only a small form in the system tray area when you click the icon.

As was already mentioned, you can enable the uptime display by just clicking the tray icon. The window can be resized and moved freely on your desktop, but its design is, unfortunately, rather outdated.
If you right-click the tray icon, you will see a menu that enables you to bring up the uptime form or copy the information to the clipboard.

All in all, this application can certainly prove useful, as it enables you to keep track of how long your PC has been running at all times, by just clicking an icon in the system tray.
However, while we can appreciate the program’s lightweight and unobtrusive design, it would have been nice if some visual customization options were available for the form used to display information.
