When developing an application that needs to display items and information in various ways, figuring out how to present this data can take a lot of time, not to mention writing the code and making sure everything works as intended.
Alternatively, you can rely on components like TColumnComboBox, which provide you with ready-made features that just need to be integrated into your project.
This particular component is designed to enable developers to add combo boxes to their programs. These combo boxes can contain multiple columns, each with their own color, font an alignment. Moreover, it is possible to insert images alongside the text.
When creating combo boxes, you have the option of going with the standard theme or choosing the flat Office 2000 look. Additionally, the LookupIncr and LookupColumn properties allow incremental keyboard lookup on any column.
TColumnComboBox is a part of the TMS Edit Controls Pack, which is available for multiple editions of Delphi and C++Builder. You can find different versions of the component in separate archives, based on the IDE they are designed for.
