SnipCommand

0.1.0

Keep your commands of all types thoroughly organized and stored with the help of this modern and useful snippet manager that boasts support for various dynamic parameters

A good snippet manager has the potential to greatly improve your productivity as a developer as it offers a perfect way to store and quickly access your most-used commands, lines of code, terminal commands, SQL queries, and so forth.
SnipCommand is a new-age, open-source, cross-platform snippet manager designed with Electron and React.
Before you jump to conclusions and argue the fact apps developed with web technologies are a lot bulkier than native ones, and that they're somewhat slower, and that they use more resources to run, it's worth noting that SnipCommand is, in fact, a great app. And, here's why.

It's all about the organization features

Comprehensive organization options and ease of access are two of the most important traits of a snippet manager. We're happy to point out that SnipCommand allows you to organize all your commands with the help of tags.
If that's not enough, please note that you can also describe dynamic parameters (support for input and selectbox for choosing the parameter value).
Everything you add to the list of snippets, SnipCommand automatically stores them (the app uses Lowdb and files are save locally on your computer) and can even synchronize them with pretty much any service that provides cloud synchronization such as Dropbox, Google Drive, or even iCoud.
Another important feature is the quick search feature. This allows you to find the desired command or snippet by using the tags or specific keywords. Last but not least, you can add comprehensive documentation for each snippet, and even edit them via Markdown.

Conclusion

SnipCommand ticks all the right boxes, both in terms of looks and functionality. It offers a surprising amount of organization options, while remaining very approachable even for newbies. It looks and feels like a modern app should and it also comes with two GUI themes (Light and Dark).
