A very popular configuration of a Windows computer includes multiple hard drives, with an SSD hosting the operating system and the key programs, and a secondary hard disk with a larger storage capacity. But for optimum performance, storage drives such as SSDs or HDDs, should be filled at a maximum of 75% of their capacity.  And with Windows installed and other additional programs, a smaller SSD with Windows on it can only perform slower.

And so was released the PCmover Reconfigurator, a simple software utility that is meant to provide assistance in moving the default Windows library folders to another drive.
You might ask whether you can do this without the PCmover Reconfigurator. The answer is yes, but it is a rather complicated process that requires you to dig through Windows properties and settings. And even if you read all about it and know how to do it, there is still room for mistakes, which might render your Windows unusable.

Move the Windows library folders on another drive 

The PCmover Reconfigurator is conveniently built on a wizard-based axis, offering guidance and clear instructions on how to proceed each step of the way. Practically, it reconfigures your entire PC to help you use all the drives more efficiently.
While the first screen explains the purpose of the application, the second one brings you closer to reconfiguring your Windows libraries. PCmover Reconfigurator detects all the available Windows folder, such as Documetns, Music, Pictures, Videos and Downloads, along with their default location and their size.
You get to choose which libraries you want to migrate, then select the source drive and ye destination drive. The target folder is also customizable.  
Depending on the size of the folder to migrate, it might take more or less time to complete. Once the application is done moving the folders, it displays a confirmation message and allows you to view a summary of the storage space configuration on all drives. As expected, a system restart is mandatory for the changes to take effect.
