MouseJiggle

If your computer is idle for too long, they either enter the sleep mode or launch the screensaver, if you  have any. But how annoying is it to have it happen exactly when you are reading an article or are watching a longer video? Like for any other problem you might face, there are applications that can address it. MouseJiggle is one of them.
You can intuitively figure out what this particular application does just by reading its name. MouseJiggle practically moves the mouse cursor silently so that the computer cannot go to sleep mode. In other words, the PC is kept awake without you having to modify the default settings you are used to only to change them back later.

Runs in the system tray area

After a quick installation process, you will find MouseJiggle running in the background. Its icon is visible in the system tray area, right next to the desktop clock.
There is no standard interface to it, as there are no major settings to deal with. Therefore, do not expect to see the application’s window when double-clicking on the tray icon. Instead, you can right-click on it to configure MouseJiggle to launch automatically when the current user logs in. Additionally, there are options to enable or disable MouseJiggle altogether. To put it another way, it is possible to deactivate MouseJiggle without exiting the application.

Moves the mouse cursor automatically 

MouseJiggle practically jiggles the mouse cursor back and forth, but without interfering with your work, so as to prevent the screensaver to pop in in an inopportune moment. This application comes in handy in any situation when screen locking must be prevented. Moreover, the package is lightweight and the application requires almost no resources at all to run in the background, silently, in the system tray.
