Flycast

1.0

Get your dose of nostalgia, with this Sega Dreamcast emulator that also offers support for Naomi and Atomiswave gaming environments

Be it that you’re an avid gamer, who cherishes the old arcade games, or that you find yourself filled with nostalgia over older console games, having the ability to emulate such environments can prove to be a life-saver in today’s PC-orientated digital world. There are countless gaming emulators out there, some more complex, other carrying simpler designs.
Aimed at those who seek a tool that can help them emulate Sega Dreamcast, Naomi, and Atomwise gaming environments, Flycast was designed in order to offer users a multi-platform emulator. Being derived from another Dreamcast emulator, namely Reicast, it supports CHD, CDI, GDI, CUE, as well as archive formats for Naomi and Atomwise.
Users will be able to open their preferred games using drag-and-drop commands, by simply dragging them over the executable file, or by relying on batch files and the command line. Typing the name of the game that is in the same directory as the executable, will initialize it when using the command line.
For those out there who wish to run the emulator in a full-screen mode, they can do so by using the “Alt+Enter” key combination, and the application will remember the full-screen mode upon the next initialization.
