dotConnect for Oracle Professional Edition

dotConnect for Oracle represents an advanced ORM-enabled data provider for Oracle, which gives you the possibility to create and design Oracle-based database programs using ADO.NET. It supports advanced queing, pipes, alerts, direct path loading, transparent app failover, REF cursors, change notifications, packages, and objects, among other features.
The data provider can be integrated with Visual Studio Server Explorer and other tools, featuring comprehensive tools for customizing visual components. For example, with the aid of DataSet tools like DataSet Wizard, DataSet Editor, DataSet Manager, you can create and design typed and untyped DataSets.
ORM models can be developed using Entity Developer. dotConnect for Oracle offers support for NHibernate, ADO.NET Entity Framework and LinqConnection (previously known as LINQ to Oracle), a proprietary ORM solution that resembles Microsoft LINQ to SQL.
Using Direct Mode, your applications can be connected with Oracle directly via TCP/IP connections without having to resort to Oracle Client. Furthermore, dotConnect for Oracle comes bundled with role, membership, session state, site map, profile and other ASP 2.0 providers.
It can be used alongside Microsoft Enterprise Library Data Access Application Block, monitor each component in the database events using a free dbMonitor application, as well as import and export data from and to Oracle Servers via Integration Services.
As far as supported classes are concerned, the program supports Native data types (both classes and structures), OracleScript, OracleMonitor, OracleDataTable, OracleDataSet, Oracle Loader, OraclePackage, OracleAlerter, OraclePipe, OracleTrace, OracleDependency, and DataLink.
It also supports the Oracle DataSource component for web apps, Oracle Advanced Queue, Workflow Foundation, SQL Server Business Intelligent Solutions, Sync Framework, InterForm, Oracle Package Wizard, Oracle Object Wizard, and Migration Wizad.
The current version of dotConnect for Oracle offers support for Oracle 12c, 11g, 10g, 9i, 8i, 8.0 and 7.3 as well as .NET Framework 2.0 and higher. It's available in five editions: Developer, Professional, Standard, Mobile, and Express.
