CreateIDE

CreateIDE provides developers with a user-friendly development environment for C# with all the basic features programmers are looking for in an IDE. The purpose is to avoid using a robust IDE such as Visual Studio while preserving simplicity and ease of use.

Straightforward interface and code editor 

When running CreateIDE, you are greeted by the overly simple interface. The GUI includes a two-panel layout with a file explorer to the right to help you view your projects and their files in a tree. The left-side panel displays the source code editor.
The editor is easy to use and allows opening multiple files in different tabs. It comes with syntax highlighting, line numbering and code autocompletion, not just for C#, but also for other programming languages, such as PHP or XML. Please keep in mind that code auto-completion is disabled by default so you must turn it on from the View menu.
It is worth noting that the code editor comes with built-in compiling and debugging capabilities.

Additional functionality 

There are a few additional features in CreateIDE that, although not essential, improve the overall user experience. For instance, the IDE features a built-in hash generator and comes with both light and dark themes, in the attempt to avoid eye strain while working in front of the computer during nighttime.
The editor can be run in fullscreen mode, if you want to. Additionally, you can launch external applications such as the Windows terminal or the Stackoverflow website from within the IDE.

A C# IDE for beginners rather than experts 

There is no argue that CreateIDE delivers a simple IDE for C# developers. The plain layout and the basic editor functions can be enough for a beginner but more experienced users and expert programmers will surely prefer a more complex and powerful development environment.
