Cigati VCF Split and Merge Tool

21.1

A tool that helps you split a large VCF file into multiple pieces to allow easier file sharing, and then rebuild the original file

VCF and vCard files carry contact information about individual persons or businesses and might be attached to email messages. If they have enough entries, like thousands, these files can get really large and, evidently, large-sized files are more difficult to handle, manage and share.
Cigati VCF Split and Merge Tool comes to the rescue, providing a simple and efficient software solution that can be used for splitting VCF files and joining split parts together into the original file. Don’t let the name fool you, as Cigati VCF Split and Merge Tool works just as well with vCard files.

Split and merge vCard and VCF files

Working with Cigati VCF Split and Merge Tool is as simple as it can be. After installation, the main window is displayed and here you will discover a simple layout and a minimum number of options, all concentrated in a single window, with no additional menus.
Adding files to the processing queue requires you to either select them manually or choose a folder and let the application search all the available VCF and vCard files inside it. Unfortunately, drag and drop is not supported. You can easily remove a file if you want to, but there are no options to change the processing order.
As mentioned before, there are not so many options to deal with. The only other customization tools allow you to change the location of the log file and choose the destination path, as in, the directory where the resulting files are saved.
As soon as you are done populating the input list, you can hit the “Merge” or the “Split” buttons to start. Depending on the size of the input files, it might take more or less time to complete. A report is displayed once process is completed.
