Bar Codes and More is a lightweight utility designed to help users create and print some of the most commonly used bar codes. The application addresses e-commerce users who need to create and print their own barcodes on the product packages. Nevertheless, it can just as easily be used in the retail industry, especially for stock cards, print sheets with labels, shipping labels, so on and so forth.
The program comes with a rather small and minimalistic, yet user-friendly interface that is suitable for everyone, regardless of their experience with similar apps. Therefore, in the upper section, the app allows users to select the type bar code from five different options, namely UPC-A, 3/9, 2/5, 2/5 Interleaved and PostNet. Depending on the product and industry, the program enables the specification of the sizes for the bar codes, labels and points.
Once the aforementioned information is checked, the next step entails entering the data to be converted into a bar code. The tool also highlights the string to use for the fonts, an option that users can easily change. The program offers a preview of the barcode to be printed so that users can make sure everything is in order before actually printing it.
