Compressing files results in them taking less storage space on your hard disks. Furthermore, an archive is easier to manage and can be sent via email or other file sharing service. There are various software applications that can compress files, and AutoZipper is one of them.
AutoZipper requires no installation, which means you just have to double-click on the executable file to launch it. It displays a simple window containing all the projects you created, with additional options to edit or remove them, and allowing you to start new compression tasks.
For your convenience, the application features a search form that you can use to look for a certain project by keyword in case the lost gets too long.
AutoZipper offers you the opportunity to configure a few settings for the project you create: a custom name and a user-defined saving location. Evidently, you can choose the folders and the files to add to the new ZIP file.
The archive properties can be altered as well. AutoZipper comes with two different compression methods, and various compression levels to decide upon the balance between the archiving speed and the size reduction. There are also various encoding modes you can choose from.
For security reasons, the archive can be protected by a custom password, and you have different encryption methods to select from.
You can easily manage AutoZipper projects using items in their context menu. However, it would also come in handy to have Windows integration and right-click menu items for any file type, to be able to create archives faster and easier with AutoZipper. Furthermore, expanding the array of supported archive types would also add to the value of such a compression tool.
