AddHash

Merge Guidance EnCase and X-Ways Forensics hashsets into a single file with the help of this simple and straightforward piece of software

AddHash is a Windows application that you can use to merge two or more hashset files into a single item. It supports Guidance EnCase and X-Ways Forensics, giving you the possibility to export them to various formats.
There is no installation required, since the app is wrapped in a portable package. This means that you can save it to a USB flash drive or another external storage device to be able to run it on any PC without setup.
Keeping a standard interface AddHash can load files with the EnCase hashset (.Hash) and X-Ways Forensics plain text format (.hsh, .txt). The list shows the name, category, tile type, hash type and hash count of each entry.
It's possible to edit properties for the new merged hashset when it comes to the name, category, file type and hash type. Once all modifications are made, the new file can be created by specifying a name and destination folder.
As far as program settings are concerned, you can prevent AddHash from exporting only unique hash values and ask it to remove exported files from the list. The application requires .NET Framework to work properly. Also, it's free for personal use only (commercial usage is forbidden).
