Apkshellext2 is an extension for Windows Explorer that identifies mobile application files and replaces the standard application icons APK, IPA and APPX (unknown file) with application icons (from the inside).
The utility displays in the Windows Explorer application files for Android, iOS and Windows Phone are not faceless files, but in the form of icons of these applications.
It also adds the APK Shell Extension item to the context menu of the Explorer (this item appears when you right-click on any of the APK files), in which you can:
access extension tools;
automatically rename files in single and batch modes according to their names and version number;
go to the app page in the Play Store and Amazon.
To install Apkshellext2 , you need to unpack the folder with the extension and run the file install.bat with administrative rights.
To remove an extension, you need to run the uninstall.bat file with administrative rights, then run the restart_explorer.bat file.
