Brave is an innovative browser based on Chromium, which focuses primarily on the safe use of all the capabilities of the Internet and high speed. There are not many settings in this web browser yet. By default, monitoring of network activity is disabled and annoying annoying ads are neutralized, which rather effectively affects the acceleration of page load and traffic saving. As for advertising banners, there are several options for blocking them:
replacing all advertising windows with others (smaller in size) that will be placed in certain places on the page,
full neutralization and shutdown.
In addition to getting rid of ad units, this browser blocks third-party cookies, neutralizes infected online ads, and uses the HTTPS Everywhere function to encrypt the data packets sent, which prevents leakage of personal information.
Among other features, there are traditional ones for all web browsers:
support multi-folding (including safe session),
the choice of the resource being opened at the start of the browser is the home page, the last open, empty tab,
two search engines - Google and DuckDuckGo,
tab management - restriction of simultaneously open, switching to a tab, highlighting tabs with different colors, page preview when you hover the mouse cursor over a tab,
privacy settings, etc.
In general, it is safe to say that even though the Brave browser is still under active development, it can already be successfully used by all users who value speed and safety when working on the Internet.
