Maxima is a free computer algebra system for working with symbolic and numerical expressions, which includes tools for differentiation, integration, expansion in a series, Laplace transforms, solutions of ordinary differential equations, systems of linear equations, polynomials, sets, vectors, matrices and tensors.

The program allows you to perform numerical calculations of high accuracy, using exact fractions, integers and floating-point numbers of arbitrary accuracy, as well as to build 2-D and 3-dimensional graphs of functions and statistical data.
