DiskInternals Linux Reader is a program that allows you to read the contents of disks working in Linux-type file systems (Ext2, Ext3, Ext4 or ReiserFS). It also manages Mac's file systems: HFS and HFS +. It is a convenient solution for people using both Unix and Windows systems, who want to be able to read data from disks connected to a PC.
For ease of navigation, the disk with the Linux file system is displayed in the application window in a manner known from Windows - in the form of icons and an easy-to-use explorer, which works analogously to that of Microsoft. In a similar way, we can switch between different views, e.g. thumbnails or lists. After clicking on the selected catalog, it is possible to view its details at the bottom of the window. In it, the contents of the file will also appear if we click on the one which the program is able to read (eg the contents of system files in hexadecimal form).
The program settings allow, among other things, to select the attributes to be presented in the columns and the way of saving the names of selected elements. The application offers many options related to the view - it is worth to test additional panels that can be displayed (selection is made from the "View" menu on the top toolbar).
