Facebook built a couple of tools for businesses that will help employees stay in touch. The Workplace app has all the features that you would find on the Facebook social network, but it works as an internal tool, and it’s not connected to the rest of Facebook.
Work Chat comes in to complete the Workplace experience and to provide a proper chat application. This looks and works pretty much like the chat application on Facebook, which means that new users won’t have a problem with the features implemented by the company.
The application is not free, and it’s only available for companies so regular users won’t have access to it.
