Waze is already a great driving app, so the developers came with another great idea. Waze Carpool should help a lot of people get rides on their way to work. Since a lot of people is already using Waze, this new app would benefit both the driver and the person who needs the ride.
The basic principle is very simple. The user marks the ride that it needs and when a match is made the user is informed. Wait for the car at the designated location and that’s pretty much it.
The ride is not free. The person getting the ride will have to pay for half of the gas, but nothing more. In theory, this app should offer a great alternative for commuters.
