The app requires you to create an account and provide your phone number, as well as connect to multiple social network accounts, like Facebook, Instagram, Twiter and Google Photos, in order to retrieve posts and images. You can also grant the app access to Foursquare, Dropbox, messages and the picture gallery on your phone.
Timehop shows you posts in the morning, so you can remember what you were doing on the same day last year. The app arranges all posts in a timeline, you can’t see posts for tomorrow, only the ones from previous days. It also allows you to share posts on social networks, save images on your phone or snap pictures and put them side by side with the caption then and now.
