The app promises to be a perfect option for people of all ages who want to stay up-to-date with the latest astronomical phenomena even if they do not have permanent access to a fast internet connection. It has a simple design and a small size, so it does not need large amounts of data to work well.
Users may grant access to their current location right from the start or add the geographical coordinates of any specific place around the world. Afterward, they get the chance to explore an easy-to-understand map of the sky above and below the horizon. That image shows the current positions of the Sun, moon, and planets in our solar system. Users can tap on any planet icon to discover its name or press the button at the bottom right to read further details, such as the distance from Earth, altitude, azimuth, and celestial longitude.
Moreover, the mobile solution displays the times of significant events in the future, including solstices, equinoxes, eclipses, and moon phases. It also lets users change the date and location to find out how the celestial sphere is going to look like at a given moment.
