Samsung OCR

OCR stands for optical character recognition, and it usually refers to the conversion of images to text files. This is not something that’s available by default, and usually, a third party is needed. It’s also a technology that requires quite a bit of hardware power, but that’s not really an issue if we consider the fact that mobile devices have become quite powerful.
 
The Samsung OCR app is very simple and, for the most part, has only one function. Users install the app, choose the files they want to convert, and decide on the format used for export. The input file format includes JPEG, TIFF, and the output file format features RTF, Searchable PDF, CSV, Text file, HTML, XPS, DOCX, XLSX, and PPTX.
