It is truly what the name says, run to the bathroom for a 'pee' break and get back to watching the movie without losing anything important. The app provides a short summary of what you've missed while away.
The idea behind this app is that its users add input on when would be the best time to take a break and go to the bathroom during the particular movie you are watching. Adding more and more opinions and data about the scenes, ratings, and reviews turns the information that the app provides into a reliable source. Each movie has details on the exact time when to take a short break and the duration of the break.
As for the way RunPee alerts a user when and if the 'pee' break is coming, it just discreetly vibrates sending a short phone warning. And if your phone is connected to a smartwatch it is even better. This way you don't disturb the other movie-watching fellows.
In the main window of the app, there is a list of the latest movies that are running in theatres. Update that lists from the menu at the upper right corner, sort alphabetically or by release date, search for a specific movie and more.
