Even after you’ve rooted your phone or tablet, it’s sometimes difficult to see if it worked or at least if it worked properly. There are some reasons why rooting a device can fail, and it’s possible that you have root access, but not the right permissions in place.
This is where an application such as Root Checker comes into play. It gives users the tools they need to quickly check the status of the root access. It’s done by verifying if the su binary is located in the standard location, and by checking if the root access is provided properly.
If the user doesn’t agree with the prompt provided by tools such as SuperSU, Superuser, and so on, the Root Checker won’t be able to verify it.
