Just like any other hosting service, Microsoft OneDrive provides space in the cloud for backup purposes. People can use this space to save their important files, and this storage space can be accessed from various platforms, including Android.

Users only need to have their email and password to log in the Microsoft OneDrive service, and they are good to go. It’s possible to set the application to backup files in certain folders, and users can also protect it with a passcode, if necessary.

Once the application has been started it will run in the background, so you don’t have to worry about saving the files that you need manually. As you would expect, an option to send files to OneDrive will show up in the Share menu from Android.
