When people choose to use a different launcher on their devices, they lose some of the basic features, and Google Now is one of them. By default, on Android, you just swipe left to access Google Now, but that’s not possible if you have a custom launcher.
The developers of the Nova Launcher, one of the most famous custom solutions for Android, managed to find a solution for this problem and they released Nova Google Companion. It’s not officially available through he Google Play Store, and it works in conjunction with the full Nova Launcher.
It’s important to mention that at least Nova Launcher 5.2 Beta 2 is needed.
