Doze is a new feature for Android that allows the phone to enter a state of deep sleep in order to prolong the battery life. The only drawback is that the phone needs to be at rest for a long time, so if it moves at all the Doze function will not activate.
 
Naptime makes Doze work much faster. In fact, Naptime will activate Doze right after you’ve turned you screen off, meaning that all of the sensors so that Doze still works if you move around. When the screen is turned back up Doze is deactivated and everything returns.
 
It’s worth mentioning that Naptime requires root access and that you won’t receive any kind of notifications while the application is active.
