The ability to view an archive on a mobile device mustn’t be underestimated, as users will often find themselves in possession of an archive. Since mobile devices are not exactly known for their flexibility, having a tool that allows users to look into archives and extract the files is very important.
Users will need to have something like the MiX Archive add-on for MiXplorer file manager to allow them to see and create archives. The supported file type of packing and unpacking include 7z, XZ, BZIP2, GZIP, TAR, ZIP, WIM, but the list of archives that can be viewed is much longer and includes pretty much all of the major known formats.
