For Kodi to work it needs a media server to which it can connect. Once you have that set up, running Kodi on your smartphone or tablet should be a walk in the park.
 
Users will have access to all of the video and audio content from the media server, as the Kodi app also has an integrated player. As you can expect, the application also has support for subtitles, or you can use it as a remote control.
 
If the Kodi server is properly set up, you can use the mobile device for movies, TV shows, podcasts, photos, and more.
 
Kodi also provides third-party plugins that can really expand the user experience.
